Default Evaluation of the Website

Could you please evaluate the website and explain what needs to be corrected or what should be changed.?

Hi, You have some very nice graphics on your site, and I like the color scheme. Your site is easy to navigate, too. Here are my suggestions: 1) Your graphic at the top of the page is so large it actually takes up half the screen, which doesn't leave much room for text. 2) Animations are very distracting, and I'd prefer not to see them on a website if I am seeking information or services. 3) Keep the "I" out of the home page. Try and word it without talking about yourself. 4) No thumps, please. My boss might know I am browsing the web, instead of working at my desk. 5) I'd love to see your clever graphics placed higher..maybe even in a clickable and scrolling slide show...for your services. They are very attractive and definitely catch the eye. I hope I have been of some help to you.

Interesting way to do an affiliate site.

I would recommend you focus more on your products and services on your front page. Show a couple of products, highlight your most popular service and computer system.

Your business is unique because of how you treat you customers. It's not unique by attempting to do something that isn't in your realm. You have a nice design, but you're focus should be on computer services.

Tell me more about your services, what makes them unique compared to the other computer shops in your area.

Additionally, please PM I'd like to talk to you about an issue that may be of mutual benefit.

Welcome to WPW!

I don't generally wander into site review but the word evaluate caught my attention.

You have a very nice site there digitald. Very very colorful.

Your opening page welcome - is nice, but isn't likely to benefit you. It would be great on the About Us page. You do have a lot of great graphics, they are a bit overwhelming though. If you'd combine those great graphics with a lot more text it would add a bit of 'balance' to your pages. Plus, there's really not enough information. I definately know where you are located, but I don't know much more than that.

People come to your site because they believe you have what they are looking for, you grab their attention with graphics and you keep them with information. All the colors you use on your site, while they are creatively used, are likely very detrimental. You are forcing visitors eye's to constantly adjust - if they spend very long on your site they're going to leave with a headache. The main flash graphic is eye catching - it changes on almost every page, is there a reason for that?

I also noticed that you don't have a "Home" button on the top links, but you do have one at the bottom. It would be a good idea to have it both places, not eveyone knows to look at the bottom. :)

Najoba's observation #3 of "Keep the "I" out of the home page." Is very correct. Visitors want to know what's in it for them. Use the word "you" as much as possible, speak TO the viewers. "You" is more powerful than "I".

One last question before I wander off. What do you think the importance is of being listed in all those search engines? How important is that to the people you're wanting to help? Alot of your index page would better serve you on an About Us page and an affiliates page.

Just my thoughts :)
