Hi

I am the Internet development manager for Shoefayre Ltd, Based in Leicester, UK.

We currently have a web site... www.shoefayre.co.uk that we use as a basic information site to advertise our presence. We are looking to upgrade the site and would welcome any feedback on our site...good or bad...to help us in creating a new fresh site.

Any new site we design will not incorporate e-commerce but may do in the future.

Firstly thanks for the comments about webdevtips.

To be honest theres nothing on your homepage that makes me want to investigate the site further. Use links that add value to your site the shopq site is pretty horrendous do you really want to be ssociated with something that looks that tacky :)

Some of your links are opeining in new windows but are still part of the same site.

Is the cybersitter family freindly link and logo really needed? I don't think its really needed on a shoe shop site.

What's the deal with co-op online? are you part of the same company - I don't know and I can't see the connection.

Find a store - whats that for - is it to find a shoefayre branch or any store just an after thought read this here - http://www.webdevtips.com/webdevtips...r/killer.shtml I have a popup killer and I can't get your search results - the form needs rescripted to avoid that scenario.

The site needs a focus - is it a store promotion site - is it there to help me find where your stores are - inform me of special offers.

Think about the purpose of the site. At present it appears to do everything and nothing if you know what I mean - I have left the site not really knowing what I was doing there :)

I agree with most of your points and this is why i put myself on here to be attacked by the wolves.

I must admit i hate what we have done with pop-ups, i know from personal experiance visiting sites that it can be a pain.

The site does not have consistancy and is to confusing i agree totaly and these are points we have picked up ourselves and will work at in a new designed site.
