Hello everyone.

I included the sitemap to one of our web sites (http://www.costa-rica-puntarenas.com) but Google Sitemap report ERROR HTTP 404 not found. I checked all the possibilities but I still can`t fix it and the error persist.

Any one can help me please.?????????

Can you tell us how we can help if we can't see anything? Maybe .htaccess, or so?

I noticed that you have the sitemap in your tours folder. It should be in the main directory, the same as your index or home page. Did you create the site map yourself or did you use a third party generator.

I use this one for mine:

http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

It seems to work very well.

Brando, you were right, the problem was there, I included the site map in the wrong file (tours) and now it is in the correct place and google report the Ok status. I used http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ for generate it and all of my other sites are working very well. Irodgers/webnauts:thanks for your recommendations. I will take a look.
