I'm not a great fan of the font used on the site or the poor contrast due to the font colour used.
Looking at the pages within a category it has the appearance of being unfinshed. Modified layout would help.

Also, try to get your own search function on the site, not G0ogle's

I am in no way against Google Ads but I think the way you have them placed draws the user away from the content...which is the main draw of your site. I would suggest not placing the ads as close to the text.
