This is nasty. Very nasty.

There appears to be no content whatsoever. Everything that isn't a google adsense link is an affiliate link. All shaken up and tossed out on the page with blinky scrolly things. Mis-spellings like 'Softwares'. Stuff overlapping.

The year is 2006, is this what we are to find on the web? Rate it on a scale of 1 to 10? Zero...

vin2sim,

Welcome to WPW

You will need to start by learning a little more about Web Design Basics. There is plenty of good advice here. It has grown to be a somewhat complicated topic.

Just below I have included an assessment by W3C's HTML Validation Tool. You will notice there are quite a few errors.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ww...freespaces.com

Also, there is quite a bit involved in making a site appealing to visitors and search engines. Spend some time here reading topics that interest you and you will find that it will help quite a bit.

When you get the Site sorted out a bit, you will need not to go with free hosting because you can't avoid garbage like "free site hosting by..." notes and those gawd-awful dreaded pop-ups.

Hope this helps.

Ken

A free Ace board with "The Forum" on the top and posts like "u r fool loser...u sd attend jp counc...ptu is crap unv....mann!!".

As for taking 5 months to set up a few pages of links...

All design and technical considerations aside, you have to seriously think about what you are producing both with the forum and website. I'd love to take my words back - maybe one day I will, but not today.

Try and put your self in the position of a first-time visitor who has arrived at your site in the hope of finding some free wallpaper. Your top 10 are not wallpaper size - none of the very few you diplay are - and there is no idication of how to download wallpaper. The images are not original - are they copyright? There is no navigation, no content, no reason to stay, no reason to come back.

You need to look coldly and objectively and ask yourself is what you have produced thus far worthwhile? Often we are too close to the trees to see the wood. I'd like to encourage you to produce something that is original, useful, fresh and news, that improves the web...
