Default Help me find conversions

www.SpeersPhoto.com/

I've re-designed this site a couple of times this year. I've tried to keep it in line with what other succesful photographers have done, but make it more search engine friendly and a good user experience. I'm pretty happy with it now, but would like feedback on what might be done to increase conversions from visitors to customers.

Thanks,
Neil

CalgaryPix,
I am getting a java error and a very slow load on the flash enabled site.
Maybe check into that and get it fixed up?
I looked through the non flash site, and it looks decent.
I would add more text to the images...
For example, here: http://www.speersphoto.com/index.php?id=89
You have a description of the image... I would do this for all photos, this will help in search engine listings.
My 2 bucks worth.
;)

No where on your site do you ask visitors to do anything. I know, I know, seems obvious to you, but it's a fact that you have to tell them what you want them to do: call for commission work, get your free quote for special events, whatever you want them to do.

Agnes, I did actually have a call to action on the about page, but you're right - it should be stronger so I updated the first page. And Tim - I think I found the java error. You're the only person to mention it so hopefully wasn't pervasive. But if its still there maybe you could email me.

Thanks to both of you for taking the time to look my site over.

Java error still there
Line: 66
Char: 1
Error: 'requiredMajorVersion' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://www.speersphoto.com/portfolio.html

have another look with ie 6+, and look in the bottom left of your browser for a yellow triangle - it will look like the triangle in this image, just double click on it and a box will pop up detailing the error as I have typed above:

Okay, I think I got it this time. Pulled out all of the flash detection script since there is a link to both the flash version and the html pages.

Thanks for your help on this Tim.
