hiya

good looking site - i really like it.. very simple and to the point.

a few points though:
- the logo look a bit blured for some reason.
- you will need alot of content to push it on the search engines. because at the moment, I am not too sure which keywords are you trying to target.
- I would have a hover over effect on the first 4 images you are using on the main homepage. so when you hover over them you get a shaded one. this shows they are links and gives a nice over all effect

- on the main homepage you have in the footer the address details and email. keep that constant across the site.

cool site.. good luck with it :)

Cheers for the feedback Junior, made those changes you suggested.

The content is a work in progress... i'm a marketing person trying to explain mechanical engineering, so will have to brush up on that.
The logo is just shit, trying to aim the company in the way of letting me create a new one for them....
As for on the homepage im not sure what you mean, currently when you hover over the images they do turn to colour???

Thanks

do they? mmm... not in my browser explorer 6

I have another small suggestion - something for you to test out. i noticed the site uses a lot of straight lines.. so really rounded corners wouldnt go nicely with it. how about getting rid of the rounded corners on these pages:

http://www.peteromoore.com/longboat-quay.htm

straight lines gives a feeling of sharpness and professionalism.. while adding that rounded corners are making it look out of place.

Also did the tables an they do look a lot cleaner.

Hello Brother,

I liked your website. Nice design, good use of space and easy to navigate. Colors sould have been more attractive and there is room for improvement in terms of look and feel.

Sincerely,

Ajay Chadha

I'm hovering just fine here ;), on XP Pro, IE6.

I think that it's a great site. The "mood" goes with the type of company.

Hi, thanks again for the feedback..

"Colors sould have been more attractive and there is room for improvement in terms of look and feel."

Can you elaborate on what needs to be improved Ajay?

Cheers

the main page is nice.
but the images are of black and white rather than color.
i think color images will make more impact on visitors

Nice site - only comment would be more whitespace around the homepage content as it feels bunched up against the edges.

Give it about 30px of padding left and right and the page will breathe a lot better imo.

The images on the homepage are black and white but colour when you roll over them, do you think it should be the other way round?

I also tried out your suggestion about more whitespace around the homepage, but it didnt look right, so i recon ill leave that as it is.

Thanks for all the feedback people....

Much appreciated
