I found them both extremely enjoyable. I guess you're asking about the front page? You got your top ten out of the middle and in the corner - looks ok - and shortened the page by losing some of the pics on the bottom and the stream of concerts box, plus some material on the right side below it.

I liked that and I found them both appealing and like the rest of the site. MAYBE - I'll look again tomorrow - I really do like the current page a lot. Seems the concert box and bottom pics give me immediate "eye appeal". The new page packs more text info into a bigger chunk though.

Just looked again and I vote for the original...my $02

In both the designs the image on top, above the main menu, is taking up too much space and pushing the more important contents down. Might think about reducing the size of the image immediately below the menu as well for the same reason as stated above. Otherwise both pages do look good.

thanks for the feedback...i definitly agree that the top headers are way too big and push everything down way too much.

I think there is a happy medium between the two that I will have to find since losing the upcoming shows box on the new one is something that I didnt really like too much either..
