Default Your opinion please ...

I created my website with a taget audience in mind .. mainly 13 - 25 age group. So far I'm getting mostly 15 - 19 year olds and really want to capture the other end of my target audience too .. 20 - 25 year olds. Could you please give me an opinion and let me know if my site is suitably designed to capture this market?

Any comments appreciated. Many thanks.

Really want? Okay, then do your homework through testing with 20-25 year olds, using a proper methodology familiar to interaction designers and certain marketing firms.

Be prepared for the possibility that what attracts one segment may turn off another. One hint: Don't troll for opinions from non-users, even if they are twenty-somethings, about what would get them to join -- it tends not to work.

You have a cool design. Very neat concept. But the one thing I noticed right away is that the site is a little slow-loading. This turns people right off.

Okay, so how do I do that?

About the site being slow loading .. that's bad. I'd really like to fix this too. Anybody know how? Thanks

the design is good.
i dont think it is loading slowly.
on a dial up, it loaded fast.
but on the main page there is no indication about the age groups to participate.
being more clear may invite your desired audience

I've tried to use images on the front page to define the age category without explicity stating it. I did get a couple of 20ish year old to sign up and they seem to be bringing some friends along so maybe I should use my members to market for me :)
