The central area is good. It's simple clear and professional.

The area you need to work on is the banner. At the moment it doesn't look professional enough. If you want people to part with their money, then you need to appear more respectable.

I'd go for a simple logo. It's very easy to make a simple logo look professional, just look at Google!

You have made some progress since this thread was posted. You know of course, that you must get your descriptions finished - I think they run out about 1/2 way down the navigation bar. Get some text on those pages as soon as you can.

Some of your title tags (didn't look at the description or keyword tags) need help.

e.g. Some (maybe all) of your Bibles Section: I looked at - showed decent title tags. When I clicked through to the actual Bibles - they didn't have "Bible" in the title tag - you can fatten those up a lot and use some more description.

I'd say fix any titles you can spot (as mentioned) and continue to get text down on the balance of the products.

I noticed that the business address is listed as Unit F which screams Mom and Pop (which ain't all bad - looks like a condo or apt. if anyone's caring??). Can you check with your mail carrier or local P.O. and see if they have a problem with Suite F (just a thought)

The previous review was fair IMO since the banner across the top is very pretty but something's not working right for me with it - just my $.02

Maybe a good site designer will give it a look and give you the nod or advice and suggestions. - I'm artistically challenged....lol!!!

Keep working tnt you'll get it down. It doesn't happen overnight!

Default Updated: Site review

I submitted my site for review in June and have pretty much changed eveything with my site. Its a yahoo store with Rtml templates and my only experience in Rtml, Html, Css, php has been learned in the last 5 months.

I would appreciate some feedback or Ideas from anyone who is willing.

Thanks in advance

Looks nice and professional.

When I click Add to Cart, I get a warning that the page contains both secure and non-secure items.

Seems to me that could "scare off" some consumers.

Is it because some graphics are stored on a unsecure server?

I am a little concerned about this. I have deleted all my cookie and have revisted with IE and Firefox and I cannot get this message. The only image in my secure checkout region is in the secure server section. ???

Would appreciate if anyone who is willing go to www.truelightchristianstore.com and add something to cart and check out and see if you are getting same message.

Thanks so much
Tim

I figured it out. I did it twice and got the message each time. One time I didn't display non-secure items and the second time I did. I couldn't see a difference until I copied both screens into photoshop to compare them.

The little envelope icon next to Sign up for our Email Newsletter is the culprit. Take that little icon out of there and you'll be fine.

Thanks Jane,

It didnt look right without the image so I made sure that the image was in my secure directory. Everything should be settled now. I appreciate you taking the time.
