Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate.

This site has been up for months and I'm not getting any orders. When I do a search with one of my keywords, I can't even find my site listed. Any suggestions on the best/most economical way to promote my site?

Thanks!
Denise St. John

A few things to ask yourself first would be:

1) Are the links on your "links page" reciprocated? If not, get rid of them. They do you no good if they are not linking back to your site creating popularity for you.

2) Do your Meta tags flow with your title tag and page content? Your major keywords should be reflected in the Keywords, Page Title, Description and body copy; and should be specific to each individual page not the site as a whole. Remember, each page is a possible entry point; so treat them as individual home pages.

Since the site that you promote on the bottom of your main page doesn't seem to have anything to help you improve your placement, I would go to this site:
http://www.instantposition.com/, use their free applications and get an idea of how to improve your placement strategy.

As for marketing? You need to get out there. Join the local chamber, and attend some events. (With business cards in hand, of course) Find your local free periodicals and advertise. Postcard marketing is a good way to advertise.

A great resource for marketing your business is at:
http://www.marketingprofs.com.
Become a member, (it's free) and grab a coffee of Starbucks coffee; cause once you get started reading this stuff, you can't stop.

Best of luck.
