First off the directory has a somewhat amateurish look to it. But that does not have to be a bad thing, especially when a humanly edited directory is concerned. I very seldomly like to see gray on a site, I think the same tone of blue used as background for the adwords would be better. The whitish background with pale blue dots is not to my taste, I think all white would be better.
The words in red clash whith the overall fontcolour of blue, also that text confuses me. How do directories make the net safer to surf? They make it easier to surf for sure, but safer? Its also a bit long for an opening statement.
It is a nice directory though but not much different from many others. It lacks character, perhaps you could play more on greek mythology and the ancient culture of greece. F.eks. add appropriate pictures to each sub category. Pictures of contenders at the ancient olympic games in the sports section, a Socrates like figure in education, Old drawing of Pan would go well with either wine or erotica, drawings of Spartan soldiers playing dice in the gambling section etc. All those motives can be found in history and archeology books. There is also a greek styled fonttype of the latin alphabet but perhaps its a little hard to read. Papyrus, bookman oldstyle and book antiqua might also fit. Just an idea.

"This is a human edited directory, so don't bother submitting if you're not of good faith."

Maybe you could specify this... Is this christian only or is it just nudity you'r against?

Greetings
