Unless what you're really doing is using the review forum to advertise, this kind of site is use-based, login required.

Create four or five dummy profiles. Have reviewers login as these people. See where they have problems.

Otherwise, nice logo.

The header suggests that you might have hit an important new market area: alien dating.

I have to agree with Paul B. - the upper right photo does look like a invitation for alien dating.

Your lead paragraph of "We Are Not..." automatically sends up an incredibly negative message. Turn it into a positive of the joys of the dating you are promoting.

Also, when I first read the domain I thought it was a product tie-in for Playtex Cross Your Heart 18-hour bras. Sorry. First impression.

Dcrus also had a great suggestion. :Create four or five dummy profiles. Have reviewers login as these people. See where they have problems.

Hello

site is looking good and backend section is also working fine.

problem is dont u feel that the header of the each panel box is quite thicker and in the each panel wastage of lot of space??

anyways color combination is ok and layout of the site is also good and menu and head of the each page is quite impressive.

I have to agree with some of what has been said before. For a consumer oriented site, you need a much more flowing, professional layout. This boxy theme is ok for a corporate site (like OpenAir), but not for something that should appeal to funky consumers.

Another tip "We are NOT just another ..." says "We are exactly just another ...". If you can't position yourself in a positive way that attracts people, you are toast as a business. Don't waste the precious first seconds, to tell your visitor, what you are not.

Also, most people are conditioned to start reading in the upper left corner, not the upper right. Make it easy for your visitor. And the Boxes on the right top need more white space to separate them.

Finally, I hit the "FAQ" in the menu and got a new window. This is a big No! You just lost me in terms of navigation.

I gave up after these, it felt like a waste of time. Sorry! I hate to give such completely negative feedback. But I reckon it is better you here it now, than when you have invested much deeper into this endeavor. You need to get some professional help! Look for a good designer AND a specialist in user interfaces (or buy at the very least a couple of good book with checklists on UI design), seriously!

Good luck

Default Not everyone is perfect!

Okay, some incredibly harsh and rude comments posted for someone seeking feedback. I thought those on this board were above that. DCrux, I had no issue getting into lots of content on the site, without a login, and I think people should offer what information we can. thecat, i mean, wow. Not everyone is awesome at layout and design. I know lots of "developers" with great ideas that they can't complete because they don't get the visual side of things.

Regarding your site, I think that it appears that you have quite a bit of solid content for visitors and users of your site, but the site does lack in visual appeal.

Headers, and graphics and overall layout are very cramped. Everything is quite large, and take over the page. One example would be your search page. The headers are too much and take up way too much space.

As a tip for improvement clean up the layout and look of the site. Pull out many of the large headers, and in turn offer a few more photos, it's a site for people to meet each other, don't be hesitant to include photos of your members.

It appears you have a decent backend system, it's simply working on the "bookcover" that needs some help. You might even want to look into find a graphic artist to help you with those types of things.
