Default Hope this helps

I noticed a few errors when I had a quick look at your site. When I clicked the search button on the home page I was brought to the customer service. The image for the live assistane wasn't there. When I got to this page I noticed there were drop down menus but there were none on the homepage.

The boldness of the links on the homepage was a bit off putting especially if I was to try reading the content. I found that it made the page hard to look at, and thats not a good impression to make for your opening page, if u tried using the same links that where on the customer service page it may look better.

I hope I was'nt too negative its hard to find a balance with the newspaper layout as you have to deal with a large amount of content but your well on your way to a good site.

Jason

well designed.
it is packed with a lot of infirmation.
even google and yahoo ads are well inserted in the design, without making an impression of ads.

Hi bigfishtackle,

Wish I was a Fisherman? Not

The only comment I would make is that your page is to busy, where to look, nothing in particular stands out.

Comments above suggest that you are being found well, your site also tells me that and from the look of the code you do have some experience.

Basically my only suggestion is to make the site a bit less hectic and consider the accessibility issue as the site would fail on that point as well as just a general validation check.

Just suggestions, if it works, do not fix it

Keimos

You asked for honesty . . . and I'm repeating something that's been said by others.

That opening page is WAY too busy, way too smooshed together, fonts are WAY too small, there is noplace for the eye to focus, the eye keeps being pulled one direction then another. You need to seriously weed that down a LOT. If you removed half of all that stuff the page would still be busy.

Page isn't valid code either, and is exceptionally bloated inline javascript and tabled tag soup, so your code, all 1537 lines of it on that front page, could be cut by 2/3 even if you didn't remove a thing from the front page. The code is written to a 10 year old (non)standard. It really needs to be brought up to date. People don't just use computers to access the web anymore.

Google's TOS forbids its use on the same page as other context based text ads. You are risking having your google account terminated.

Default Too Busy

I am sure glad that its summer again and time to think about fishing-
but reading your site is giving me a headache!
fonts are too small -too many colors- and way too much text-
This home page should not be scrolled down 3+ times to get all of the context- links to text on other pages would be easier and a more alluring way of conveying your message clearly.

hope this helps-

I would agree with other commentators when they say you should try to trim it down a bit.

A lot of text all over the place like that might be good for the search engines but not fantastic for your actual human visitors!
