Please review my latest site http://www.musicians24.co.uk

It is a site where performers can post their details and then anyone wanting, say an accordion player, can search for one and contact the performer direct.

Great site, well laid out, nice clear navigation...

Here come the buts...

You have two different menu items to search for a musician and neither one has the word "musician" might be an idea to call at least one of them "musician search".

The list of musicians is a bit long so maybe you should consider dividing it into two columns.

Other than that it's a very well built site ;)

r1csm1th,

Your layout is clean and the colors understated and tasteful. The navigation seems straightforward, to the point.

I would, however, work on the content on the front page; a little more active tense/verbs ought to do the trick.

I'd also move the sections about what we did to the top and who are to the bottom. Wjhat'smore important? Who we are or what we're selling?

I'd lose the welcome thing altogether; bit redundant--meta,in another sense of the word.

I'd also take that block of text at the bottom, the one with all the instruments, and run in it a column down the right-hand side or as a bulleted list. In it's present form, its unreadable by anyone but a search engine spider.

You're off to a great start; good luck with this site--it looks like an exciting idea.
