I just did a seasonal facelift for the front page of a clothing site:
http://www.canadianclothing.ca Does this grab your attention/get you into the Autumn "I want to buy new clothes" feeling? Also, on the product pages I am debating whether or not to display the credit card logos (poll above) All comments appreciated, Grease <Mod edit to comply with Site Review Rule #1 - S.> |

I would think of it as when you enter a real store and see the logos at the door, and at the checkout counter. But not on every product label.
Somewhere prominient on the home page and maybe in the footer on every product page as reminder? Small logos in the footer would be fine since logos stand out anyway, plus these are very well recognized. My 2 cents, - make that Canadian 2 cents :) Lotus. |

well, my vote goes to yes.
I, personally don't think it should only be visible during the purchase/checkout phase. Obviously not overbearing, but I would want to know what the website accepts before even thinking about buying. On a side note: As a fellow Canadian ... and all other Canadians What do you think about currency ? Should that be visible somewhere and not just on a policy page? Your client is obviously a Canadian company, but do they accept Canadian or U.S. funds ? I didn't notice anywhere. Actually on the 'Payment Policy' page there's a hint of CDN funds (ie) conversion info. I find it annoying that alot of Canadian websites accept U.S. dollars only. |

I like the site very much. Good job! With regards to the cc logos, yes, it does need to be displayed on at least the home page. That way the consumer knows what is accepted before they start shopping. Nothing more frustrating that to finish your shopping cart and realize the company will not accept your card at check-out. (from a consumer's point of view).
Again good job grease!! |
