Default Please help me decide !

Hello friends,
I had created my 1st site : www.sitebb.net on Google Adwords.
I wanted to make my site as simple as possible.

I had 1st created the site in black and white : www.sitebb.net/5.htm but changed to green and white as u might have noticed earlier.

I am currently in a dilemna. I dont know which color format to choose now. Please help me decide. :)

Also, I had created a forum using SMF : www.sitebb.net/forum . Please tell me what you think of it.

Default colour choice

Hi Zacku,

From what I can see, it doesn't really matter - pick a colour and stick with it. As long as you are consistent with your design, visitors are unlikely to care whether you use black or green.

Alternatively, you may consider using a second colour to add a bit more interest to your design. With care, this can be done without reducing the clear, simple design that you are aiming for.

Cheers and beers,

Hiya

the green one is too much green.. cant you break it by using a different shade of green for the links and the headings?

the black one is not very friendly looking and I wouldn't recommend. Unless if you break that strong colour using a different colour to the links and headings.. you need to give it some character and a softer touch.

Good luck - nice site content

thanks
Tala

I agree - too much of the same colour in both designs. Throw some gray or blue in there and see what you get.
