We've recently done up a website for the Brisbane band "Parkers Brother". Any feedback on it would be great!

Default Nice touch

Although red is harsh on the eyes... Heck it looked good. I like the look and feel of the site. Clean. Consistent. Fun. Innovative. Keep up teh good work.

panormanic view? is that done on purpose? should it not be panoramic? maybe it was intended that way. :) Good one!! definitely not as boring as panoramic. Will attract attention there for sure. Hahah.

But why no metatags? Other than that you've got a definite winner there. Keep up the groovy stuff.

Thanks very much! Panormanic is actually a typo. Though panormanic does seem more interesting. Perhaps i should change it to Panormaniac? :oP

The metatags is probably the next thing i have to work out how to do. This is the first website I've done, so i'm still learning. Any tips?

I like everything on the website but the header. I would work on the header some more.

You asked about meta tags

Here's how the most basic set should look:

<title>What are meta tag? Do the search engines use them? Find out those answers here</title>

<meta name="description" content="How meta tag help the search engines find your website.">

<meta name="keywords" content="meta tag,search engines,what are meta tag,">
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow">

thanks for that! Is there anything specific that you don't like in the header? Which part of it do you think needs work?

And thanks for the advice on the meta tags

Bas,

Overall, your site looks great. Search engine optimizers would recommend changing a few things (take the "Welcome to" out of your title and if you're gonna use gfx for your nav bar, use <alt> tags or text links on the bottom of the page or both (belt & suspenders).

And as soon as mine is perfect, I'll start correcting other people's spelling.

I tell my clients, "I'm not your proofreader and I'm not your editor. If you want me to edit/create/recolor/reshoot your gfx, you're gonna find some very expensive items on your next invoice."

Spelling is an interesting dilemma which i've posted about a few days ago, here: http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic...634&highlight=
