Default www.otis123.com

I would appreciate your honest feedback regarding my site at http://www.otis123.com

We specialize in international travel medical insurance and I have worked diligently to create a site that is professional, yet is hopefully designed for SE Optimization.

Regards,

Default Awesome Job!!!

Great call on the Babel fish link. That is obviously a must for your industry but I recommend it for all web sites. The code is easy to deal with and either alta vistas or googles translator will suffice. Nice job setting all the external links to open in new windows. Too many people skip that crucial step. I also like the side show at the beginning. It seems a little slow to me, but slower is definately better than faster. I would also like to see some sound integrated into the page. Something small like mouseover sfx, but that might be a little too much work.

My only main concern is the fixed background image. It is probably personal opinion but I find it annoying. It makes scrolling look very "busy" and rapid. The bg image is fine, I would just fix it. I usually do not mind fixed bg's in the correct applicationk, however i believe it is the little red dots that get on my nerves. Does anyone else agree???

your site is very good.... easy to navigate, quick to load and has good information for your visitor... it is very professional looking..
I checked your source code for keywords, and while I understand that you can use up to 1,000 keywords, those words must be used in the body of your text per page, which I don't see in your site... in fact, you have more keywords than you have text.
Unfortunately, keywords really cannot be used generically from page to page... each page must be keyword optimized based on the text of that page. Therefore, you cannot use the keywords on the index page, if that keyword is not being used on the text on that page.

Any other thoughts to assist us in better structuring our site?

You might want to consider not using the background image the red dots are distracting and people will tend to look at those above the actual content of your site... they will more likely skim it then actualy read so I suggest losing the background image so as to not to distract.... people will get more information on the initial skim without it.

Also the use of the red as highlights.

Going from red to black will cause more headaches then good... the colors conflict and the eyes will take to long to adjust. With in that time you could lose them no matter how good the content.

I suggest using a variation on the yellow in your logo...not a greenish/ yellow and not to bright.

Best of luck
Czar
