Default Your website

Hi,

First off, I want you to know that I am no pro, so anything I say should be taken as it's from a layman. I like the amount of info on your site, but I have come up with a few small things for you.

1. On your image map, on /index.php#seller, Alaska, Hawaii and New Hampshire don't have their name coming up when you mouseover, and Delaware, Maryland and DC aren't there at all.

2. On the welcome page, the flashing 'NEW' makes it difficult to concentrate on the text.

3. Finding out how to get the '$500 Cash Back' seems too difficult. People may want an explanation of that before they fill out a form.

4. On /index.php#seller, the drop down menus and their descriptions on either side of the image map seem too similar. Perhaps try bolding and/or capitalizing the 'SELL' on the left and the 'BUY' on the right?

5. The top of /index.php seems to have too many links. Is there a way to maybe condense some of the information on those pages/sections (that those links go to) to be explained right there, without having to go forward and backward - just to get through the first page? It looks somewhat jumbled and messy. Maybe it could use some type of organized menu/navigation bar.

Keep in mind that my own website is bound to have an uncountable amount of problems on it, but I just don't seem to see them on my own. I hope that my third party objectiveness is helpful to you.

I dont think your service is very clear. Are you a lender, a real-estate agent, a mortgage broker or a knight in shining armor ? Once I entered Nedomosis, I am not even sure of what the name is, I found a WHOLE LOT of Affiliate links.. not really a good sign in my eyes. My sugesstion would be to have fewer pages with more specific content on the index page. Just my 2cents though.

Yikes! Good thing I haven't left the drawing board or I'd have to say "Back to the drawing board" after all that!

Thanks for the in-depth reply.
I am aware of alot of the drawbacks am an constantly
changing things around. Having trouble condensing info...can't fit all I need to in one spot...but then that is the whole point of links...you shouldn't have to.
I'm probably a lot older than most website guys out there these days...grew up before the instant gratification - don't make me work for anything mentality hit...so its tough to reconcile what I know...people don't want to follow links and actualy read and learn...with what I feel...if you're too intellectually lazy to read my stuff, who needs ya...which I have to overcome, cause of course I need them! Thanks for the feedback!
