Hi,
What do you think of the site that I made? It's actually a thesis project and I'm happy about it.
Please do give some comments or simple any feedback will do :)

Hello Imperial,

I think the website is good. The simpler the better, that being said, flashy ads are a huge turn off for any prospective visitors. I would get rid of it right away. Also, the left colum doesn't seem to be properly aligned with the header and footer. Otherwise, it's a decent website. Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks on the reply wariental, yes I will do that. But the flashy thing is what we decided for an affiliate program, anyways Bidvertiser is also one that we choose best. Any idea of other affiliate? That doesnt have that flashy thing, :)

There was a pop-under ad and a disagreeable flashing banner ad. For me this brings down the credibilty of the site. I would not go further into a site that greets me with these - whatever you are selling.

You are expecting customers to part with considerable sums of money for high-ticket items like TVs and Air-con units. Is your affilate/ad income really worth losing for customers for the goods you are selling?

You are Paul, but in the meantime we are still searching for any desirable ads for our site.
Hope you could give a hand.

I couldn't agree more about the pop up and horrible ad.

I would also say that for trying to sell such expensive products, your thumbnail images are very poor. I know that smaller images lose some resolution but these look badly resized. Also the pictures are quite dark and to me they don't look very proffessional - they do not showcase your products well at all.

perhaps cut round them so they're on a white background - look at some big household goods retailers at how they show their porducts - for example currys is an english company (www.currys.co.uk) and their small images look a lot more polished.

your site as a whole is good and looks real nice - clean, functional, easy to navigate, but I don't feel you're really selling your products.

Get rid of the popups. Other than that it looks pretty good.

That horrible popup is so irritating that I could barely look at the actual website. Definitely, you'll lose visitors as soon as they get that site; just look at the number of people complaining about it.
