Kindly review a 'new' site I launched. (pls read below)

'new site' explained: The above site was live (for about 5-6 mos) as a one pager, with a news feed I was running into it, by syndicating related articles. Not too many back links, actually maybe 3or 4 , mostly from my sites. MSN scooped it and put it on page 1 for 2-3 months, Goog had it indexed too.. but not showing really. (not heavy hitting search terms), and as always, Yahoo did'nt slurp ;+(
That said, all the SEs have started showing the site.. various terms (page 1 #1 to page 3-5 etc). MSN leads the way and Yahoo for some terms. But, Google about 2 weeks ago (I guess going thru some updates), picked up the site again, and started showing it for lots and lots of related terms for about 4-5 days, and now..... back to only 20-30 a day. I mean I still have a lot of IBLs to go... but what was that????? Need comments on
SEO for the site, please.
