| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Firstly get rid of this:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Mon, 06 Jan 1990 00:00:01 GMT"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache"> Add these Meta <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="index, follow"> <META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW"> How many people will search for this: Welcome to Home2Annapolis, the web site to bookmark for real estate in the Annapolis. May be better to remove it from your meta and include other stuff. Check out http://ejrs.com/webmasters.html Get your client to invest in the affiliate program called AssocTrac2.5 that I have listed there. Give people the chance to earn commissions by adding the html to their site. Them linking to the site will boost your client ratings on google too. It is a sure win situation. I went from 200 visits per day to 15,000 visits and users of my site every day. Not on one but on 2 sites I get 15,000 visits each. And it took only 6 months. Try it, you can't go wrong. |

Thanks for the ideas, one thing I sould mention is that is a Homes.com site. They have certain elements that cannot be changed, such as the meta tags you recommended I remove. As far as the other meta tags, I can isntall them, but only in the main body of the text, somewhat far down the page. Will this matter?

Metatags can't be placed in the body of text. You need to remove those unnecessary tags as they use up your bandwidth for no reason. If that is ok with you then by all means. But why settle for 2nd best when you can aim higher?
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="Mon, 06 Jan 1990 00:00:01 GMT"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache"> has gotta go. Add these Meta <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="index, follow"> <META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW"> These tags make it search engine friendlier. This is a strictly metatags thing. |

Thanks again for your help. As mentioned, there are some things about the Homes.com templates that cannot be changed. There is limited content interface with those sites. All that can be manipulated is the main body of content and the navigation panel. I have added pictures with alt tags and links to co-op link exchange partners on the "web partnerships" page accessible on the "Articles and Links" section of the site. What more can I do? I have been trying for months to get her site better placement with no avail. Is there something about the engines that restrict placement of sites regarding Annapolis real estate?
