Default Please review new Job site.

Hello-

I'm looking for a few good man or women to test drive my new site. This is a new job posting site that should go live in about 5 weeks. Please feel free to browse around and give me your honest opinion.

Below are a few things to take into consideration:

1) This is a beta site, so if a few sections of the site does not work it's ok.
2) If you decide to create a user account , please take into cosideration that once we go "Live" all accounts and posting will be delete.

3)If you decide to create an account please note that your information will be kept confidential and once we go live all information will be deleted. Not worry about spam or newsletter sing up.

4)Please do not solicit any bussiness from us.

If you would like to send your comments please email: test@nomoreheadhunter.com

Thank you all for your input.

A few random thoughts:

The Flash header: a joke is like an egg - it can only be cracked once. And that bouncing dot and sliding in words was fun the first time, but on every page....

Loading was slow. In fact first try it timed out.

The top menu icons should link as well as the text.

Where is this for? I can see the word Hollywood on every page. No idea what that's about, but presume therefore you service Southern California? OK, I see the 'States' dropdown tells me. So the rest of the world has to assume if it doesn't say anything it's the USA.

'No More Headhunters' is good name, but then why have 'Walking the Dog, Inc.' adding confusion?

The coding is ropey: no DOCUMENT declaration. No Meta tags. A mass of JS, images and code - but nothing much for search engines to index.

The Hollywood character is just a temp picture. In fact it will be an animated character that will give you a tutorial about the site once you click on play.

Uhmm... let me think about the flash loading. Right now it only loads once or whenver the page is refreshed.

The repository server where the site is being hosted is a different server from the one that we actually will be hosting on. So the speed should change drasctically.

The "Walking the Dog, Inc." is the company name. Can't do much about that and I don't think it should be an issue.

Thanks for your input.
