HC Concepts is the flagship for my personal on the side business. I would like any constructive criticism, comments and suggestions! Please note that the shopping cart has not yet been configured, so there should be one link on the site that does not work properly. Thanks for looking.

Hello Slick,
Spotted a typo! Whoopee, that'll make your day! Homepage - foreward s/be spelled forward (unless for some reason unknown to me you've deliberately mis-spelled for a certain keyphrase!). On this page - http://www.hc2.ca/portfolio/graphic1.html - this image http://www.hc2.ca/gif/portfolio/port..._headline3.jpg seems to have a little glitch on my screen, with separation between the centre square which the image seems to be cut into, and the surrounding area. Using FF 1.5.0.1. You can see the fade is cut and spaced a little. (As a cross check the image on this page seems fine to me in the same place http://www.hc2.ca/services/web_design.html) I like the site, the graphics all look good, love the pencil sketch of the hand, that grabbed my attention. The anti-aliasing around the HC2 pentagon logo at top looks a little grainy on my lcd screen, but I'm not sure if that's my screen or the graphic? Where did you get the idea of a pentagon shape for the logo? Not quite sure what to make of it myself or how it relates to your business? Sorry, that's it! Darren. |

Thanks for pointing out the spelling error. After you look at something long enough it begins to not make sense, and as such that mistake was continuously overlooked.
I have noticed the problem with the arrow icon, although I've yet to find a solution since the image is correctly sized. As for the HC2 logo it is a tab pizelated but this could not be helped in the transition from a vector based file. The icon itself is an extension of the original that used to be just HC2. I was sketching one day and thought of the most powerful building on the face of the earth (Pentagon), and subsequently I ended up with a multicolor pentagon that incorporated my original logo. The multicolor plays off our ability to do a varieity of jobs, like feathers in a cap or pieces of a puzzle. Thanks for looking and asking such a good question.
