Default Site looks great

Hello,

The site looks great... good functionality.

My only comments on the site are as follows:
The page http://www.photomax.com/web/ should be the default home page instead of the tour. It's more visualy appealing and offers more interactivity.

Other than that good work.

Default Looks good

Hello,

Your site looks good. I agree that the "web" section should be the default homepage instead of the tour. It gives much more professional and interactive look.

Let us know how do you think of the look and feel of "phpkb Knowledge Base Script" at http://www.knowledgebase-script.com

Good Luck and once again nice design. Good piece of work..!

Default Nice look

This is a very nice look for your industry, and I really like your logo.

My one comment would be the .jpg compression on your buttons and text (ex: "Special Offer"). Using flash, you should be able to remake these items using vectors and embedded text that will not only load faster, but will show no compression.

Hi,
I've had a look through, and followed the seven buttons through for the tour. First of all - the site looks really good. I like it - and using the logo consistently throughout will help nail it in people's heads.

Nothing that I've really picked up on - FiveGrand mentions the compression value of the .jpg buttons - and I can see this, but I'm away from home using a laptop at the moment and I have to look really close at the screen to see the pixels becoming messy.

The only thing I think of which I want to be able to do is when each of the seven is clicked and I see the details for, example the Photo Gifts - I feel the urge to click on each gift for more info, but these do not seem to be clickable items. So that feels a little unnatural. Is it designed to be just an information page?

Maybe you don't want people to be able to click on more info until they've signed up? I don't know - but if that's the case, it might seem a little 'suspicious' (sorry, best word I can think of - do you know what I mean?) that you can't see the details/prices of each product before signing up? What do you think - may seem more 'open' if information is available on clicking? (I don't know if any of this is something you've thought of, or whether it's something you're working on, but that's what I've thought about).

Also, when I clicked on the Europe link at the bottom of the page, there was no pricing information for us over the pond in Europe - maybe just a link missing, or maybe you haven't converted prices from USD to GBP?

That's it anyway, hope it goes well, I've recommended your site to a couple of friends already, and I'll forward the link to others as I mail them as I think it's a worthwile site.

Regards,
Darren.
