Default please review www.standoutlogo.com

Hi,
I recently launched a logo design website at www.standoutlogo.com. I would really appreciate your comments on the website so I can improve it.

I am not looking for comments on the logos, but rather on the website functionality, color combination, fonts and so on. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to make it search-engine-friendly. But feel free to make all kinds of suggestions/comments.

Thanks in advance.

Default SEO friendly

Nice colors and easy to navigate.

It's good that your page links and menus are text and not images. Work on using better titles with more descriptive words.

Instead of having each logo popup.. have it go to a new page.. I think it would make for better usability.

More text content on the logo detail pages would be good.. maybe a title and short description.

Hey Great website. The layout was really easy to navigate and not get lost. Also your information about logos was really informative. Especially those who are like me and new to the whole advertising thing. 2 things you might want to consider. Include some more information in the about us section like when the company was formed, etc. And in the "What you get" page I would put something about them having complete ownership and copywrite on the logo like you state in the "about us" spot. That to me just seems like a more appropriate place for that statement. Good Luck with everything and have a wonderful day. Hope this helps

For SEO, your homepage needs text content that the SEs can read. You have all of your text formatted (buried) in images that can't be read and indexed. Your top keyword "logo" is only read 4 times on your home page for a fairly low density.

All of your links need mouseover effects so that website visitors know those links are live.

Thanks for the good input, everyone.

I have added more readable text to the first page and will do that to the rest also. It doesn't look great right now, but I'll modify the look later.

Good comments regarding the mouse-over effects, increased text and making each logo appear in the same window instead of a pop-up window. I'll fix that soon.

Thanks again. I'm glad I found this forum :)

Default Title Tags for Text LInks

Great looking site. Make sure to include Title Tags for your text links, so that search engines get a deeper description, and if someone is viewing the page, they'll get a deeper description for each link.

Basically like alt tags for text links. Speaking of ALT tags, you should vary your text in your image alt tags on the home page, that will again help your seo efforts. If you have the same phrase on your page 10 times, that can appear like spamming. Add a little change and flair and that will help immensely.

On a personal note, as a company, why would I want someone else to be able to have the same logo outside of the company name and slogan? If I went to get it protected would a company run into issues?

Random side note.

On a personal note - promarkweb - we only sell each logo to one customer. After you buy a logo, we remove it from the gallery and never sell it to anyone again. Maybe that isn't stated quite clear enough on the site.

Thanks for the spamming note, that is one thing I must certainly correct!

Default Thanks for the info

I gotcha...guess I didn't read too much though, so maybe you said it and I didn't see it. No worries.
