Hi all
I'm seeking feedback on http://www.globalhideaway.com. It is relatively new, and is basically a free property listing site. We don't charge so we need to recoup our costs through site advertising (currently trying Adsense) and I'm trying to strike a balance between getting decent exposure for the ads whilst not having them crowd out the listings. Would love to know your thoughts... Thanks Jamie |

Thanks!
Do you think the property listings are fighting for space with the ads, or is the balance OK? Also how fast/slow does the site seem to you? I was worried about speed given the large amount of data to search through. |

I can't tell the difference between your content, and the ads, unless I really focus and read. I would pull the ads down from your first listing, and make them standout as different. Box them off, do something to make them appear as ads.
The last thing you'll want is for someone to feel "jipped" because instead of a beach from home, they are looking at a home in Gatlinburg, TN. Also, I'd try and give a better pitch on what your site does on the home page. Great photo, but it doesn't tell me why I'm here. Hope that helps. |
