at the moment, your directory main page does not look professional/organised/targetted as it should be. lets look at it bit by bit:

- Logo should be left aligned (as already mentioned in the logo review forum)
- You can add a small introduction to highlight the benefits of listing their websites in the directory.

- remove the google adverts from the red bar at the top
- remove the google adverts from the top of the page.

once you remove the above, this should shift the page content up. The visitor will be able to see the categories in the directory.

Make a choice, either place the google adverts on the RHS of the page? and get rid of the LHS banner advert? or place the banner advert to the right of the page and place ur google adverts in other pages or at the bottom of the page?

- add a bit of excitement to your site.. your navigational menu looks very dull. use the same font size as u used in the categories. Make use of the CSS and do hover over styles?

- I would also recommend adding thin borders around the categories...

hope this helps...

You seem to have worked on some of the things JuniorOnline suggested, and you are going in the right direction.
The biggest problem I see is with the grammar. Visitors will expect a US directory to use standard American English, including language structure as well as words. The problem is only evident in a few small places on the site. However, I submitted a link to my real estate site, and the confirmation email needs quite a bit of work. It seems highly likely that you are located outside the US, but for best results that shouldn't be obvious.

Thanks for your quick replied, Junior. You helped me a lot with my design and I'll keep it better as much as I can.
Thanks you ccera for your submitted resources and your comment about my grammar. I'll keep a try.

Great Job - amazing how few changes make a big difference. I noticed you have at the end of the page (5 Newest Featured Links) and there is only one showing. I would suggest making use of the right hand side and adding the images of the 5 sites + their links in a nice organised way. You can make use of the font (bold) (red) and (grey) - it would look appealing and interesting;)
