Default Site Overhaul: Wackywillysweb.com = More Traffic, Same Sales

Hello all!

As the topic states, I've redesigned http://www.wackywillysweb.com ( in November ) and now it's getting much better traffic ( #1 placement in most searches for our products, the Google florida update didn't seem to affect us either way (?) )

But!

Our Conversion ratio of hits to sales is not much better! So, we'd like to ask that all you brillant members of Webproworld to take a look and see where we could improve the site, to nail the sales that we're missing out on.

Gauranteed, each review will earn a review back if you like, and everyone's opinion is of value to me, the more wide spread the opinions and different points of views, the better I'll be able to get an idea of what you're going through when you visit the site.

Thank you in advance,
-Darryl

I really liked it, Darryl, but then I have to admit that I'm a real sucker for any website using a black background.

About the only thing I would criticise is your using the same color for the text in your links and the text in the content of your pages which kind of breaks a cardinal rule about clearly differentiating between your links and other stuff on your pages (Is this a link?) The fact that they're not underlined only makes matters worse.

Just my humble opinion.

Your meta tags need a lot of work.

You need a mouse over effect for your top na. bar

I would have the first button link back to the home page and say home.

I would remove the banner from the top of the page.

There is to much going on with the right side of the home page. Make the text smaller and the picture smaller.

I would agree to the most of the things JimmyMac and janeth said. But another thing that bug me is that your menubuttons has got different hight... You should try to fix this. Otherwise i can't see anything wrong with your page.

By the way would you please take a look at my page (go to http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=12143 )

Hi,
I love it especially the background. The only thing I would do is categorize the contents on the left hand side or put into alphabetical order. When reading the list I had a sense of feeling like I was scattered or missing something. Also some of the things you listed I have no idea what they are without clicking and looking, which could work to your advantage or disadvantage. Some people may click just to see, others may over look it. But all in all, I love it.
