Anyone is welcome to take a look at my crude Front Page efforts on my site. With time so limited, any collected feedback is greatly appreciated. Once again the site is: http://www.bestsynoil.com

Get rid of the neon colors............they're annoying.

That's probably the most beneficial thing I can tell you. Most visitors would probably leave after being bombarded with such eye killers. It makes your font hard to read and is just a sensory overload.

Default Review of bestsynoil.com

Lafe,
Thanks for the heads up on the colors. I have redone the entire index page with a theme of using only (almost) the colors in the Amsoil logo. It is neater, easier on the eyes! There are still a lot of things about Front Page that I am ignorant of.

Great Job on the color change. This looks a lot better.

Another thing you might want to do is clean up the logo graphic. Make it less pixelated.

Also, navigation. Get consistent navigation throughout the entire site. Some pages have the links across the top and others have a table of links across the top. Also the very first page and those pages with like navigation (the links under the logo) make the links the regular blue, because the way they look now, the links go unnoticed.

Default structure

Hi,

try to get your website more structured. develop a concept by thinking of someone entering your site, trying to get a special information about your products. what is the easiest way to get there ? is there such a way ? how long will it take for him/her to get the desired information ?
In my opinion, you should also try to put less content on your frontpage, as it confuses people entering the 1st time. Try to get rid of the scrollbar if possible, so the viewer can see all important links at 1st glance.
