Great looking site, well laid out, good colour scheme. Anything I have to say represents minor improvements on a well developed site.
Starting with the boxes on the right, on page 1. They could do with some padding for the content -too close to the edges in all of them Under 'newsletter' it should read 'your name' not 'you name' The main menu bar could do with rollover effect I kept finding myself accidently clicking into the chat room. It probably has too big a clickable area. Great job on the phpbb forum. I've just clicked why this is done by the english section of the faculty of commerce!! You are to be commended for your english skills. I didn't read thoroughly but only the one error leapt out at me. Great work, keep it up, and I wish you all success Sallaam |

Thanks for your post. I fixed the right boxes and the miss-spelled word (you name) there are actually many other similar mistakes that I found “ list ” was typed as “ lis ” I always forget letters while typing so this will be a common mistake throughout the site.
The main menu's rollover effect is a great idea, but I think adding the rollover images will slower the pages' loading. The pages are already too heavy and it takes ages to load. |

what about just using a:hover in the CSS? That's all you need.

Oh, of course, they are! I didn't hop back in to have another look. It's probably no big deal.
Of course another way you could do that menu bar is to have a graphic of the whole bar with no text and use <map> to put html text links onto the buttons. Then you can use hover. BTW I notice you have no DOCTYPE and a lot of javascript in the head. Could the latter be in a separate file? |
