Default Do not Click here only if...

You can not be bothered with giving me an honest (but Kind) critique of My Newly Created (re-done) Front-end Site...

http://www.freedomxtreme.com

O.k. In essence it is a front-end one-time low price sales page which has a back-end of brining people into my Networking program...Well actually to clarify...to get more qualified prospects to talk to who I will attempt to backend into my Networking Company....

Even If people who buy do not join my back-end I am still making money on the Front-end to help defray advertising costs....

It's what I like to call an automatic Self Funding Promotion...But at the same Time I think I will be able to generate more serious prospects for my networking program if I am talking to people who have already bought something from me...

Specifics:

I would like a critique of the lay-out, Wording, Ad-copy, Page loading speed, clarity of content...etc., etc,.....

I still have to Re-do the audio which I will be doing tonight..so Yes I know the audio sounds Cheezy....

Thanks
Keith Gill

My first reaction - and I am being honest, not offensive - was 'looks like a pyramid scam'.

It just has that look about it. I'm not saying it is, of course, just declaring a first impression.

I assume you are based in the US (the money figures are in $). Well, in the UK we have what I suppose could be called a problem with bill posters gluing or tying small flyers to traffic signals (and anywhere else traffic stops on main roads) with such copy as 'WORK FROM HOME', 'MAKE £3,000 A MONTH MINIMUM', 'PHONE XXXXXXXXX OR GO TO WWW.MY20KBIZ.COM', and so on.

The flyers they produce just came immediately to mind when I saw the homepage.

You also Capitalise The Initial Letter In Every Word In Your Page. That just doesn't look right.

The ubiquitous black and white high-school yearbook-type photo of a guy in a suit with a testimonial alongside is also reminiscent of some of those older true scams you used to see in newspaper classifieds.

The font varies too much size-wise, and the yellow highlights don't work for me. It seems like shouting.

The struck-out prices with lower prices inserted is typically a printed word technique. Is that the image you are trying to convey?

The images could be smaller. I think the two product images could be taken from their current 15kb-ish to under 5kb easily. The small photo could probably be halved.

Speedwise it seemed fine overall. And the content lower down is well-spaced and reads well.

In addition to the previous comments, to which I agree, I find it insulting to your viewer that you would ask them to give you their money and you have absolutely no address, phone number or name...
the above information lends credibility to a site... I, for one, would never buy something from a website without knowing everything about the company from whom I am buying.

A pyramid scheme/scam is one of those where the first person has to recruit 10 more people, each of those pays money to the first person, and each has to recruit a further 10, and they pay the previous 10, and so on.

Basically, the only activity is recruiting other people - nothing actually happens to put good in the marketplace. The first few people make a heap of money if they can find enough gullible people, and the later ones break even if they're lucky.

That's what a pyramid scam is.

This site is just reminiscent in style of the techniques used to sell pyramid scams in the ways I suggested.

I emphasised it was only my impression - not a statement. I personally find it hard to imagine that escape from the rat race and the acquisition of huge wealth through legitimate means is to be found in a small, budget publication, so my opinion is driven by that.

:)

Sualdam, You are certainely entilted to your opinion and "impression"...but now that I have an understanding of what you defined as a "Pyraimid scam" I can certainely say that my Site is not anywhere closely related to that....

If you notice I am selling a Real product (although digital)that also has 8 different bonus products attached to it that all offer a REAL VALUE for ones money....Not only do the products I offer Do what they Promise to do but They are availiable at an extremely discounted Rate....So the Value is also there dictated by the current Market rate of the very same products....

What I was asking is a Review of the site itself the Layout, Design features, Colors, Readability, Ad Copy wording, an any Marketing Advice

Thanks
Anyone else have any Review Comments and Ideas

No, I know it's not. I have stated exactly that it is NOT a pyramid scam in all my posts.

What I said is that the style was reminiscent of those used by pyramid scams. Hence my first impression.

I'm not saying I'm right - just putting forward my opinion as requested to try and help you. So far, two people got a similar impression, so you have to look at the 'no smoke without fire' possibilities that what we're saying might have some truth to it.

If a lot of people felt similarly uneasy about it your business wouldn't get off the ground. Surely you want to avoid that?

The problem is the 'get rich quick' approach. That is how pyramid schemes operate - by emphasising the $$$ - so people could easily make the same connection we did, even though it isn't true.

Our advice (though I can't speak for info202) was how to change your site. In particular, how we felt about the current appearance.
