This site has great Christmas content, and the properly targeted Google Ads fit in very comfortably (which they don't do on many sites).
I'm not crazy about the colors. I would suggest a white background with more traditional red and green fonts and borders, or maybe a little brighter green background with red and white fonts and borders. Color is mostly subjective, though, so maybe someone else has other ideas.
I particularly like the great Santa info, and the fact that your carols include quite a few which are harder to find, rather than just the most traditional.

Always on the lookout for good sites to visit with my kid and this certainly qualifies.

I do have a comment on the colors though. The previous comment is right on target: you could try a lighter shade of green, somehow the background seems a little too dark.

I have to agree on the colors. I see spots as I type.

The red text on the dark green background is really tuff.

And the white bold text on the dark green is also really tuff once you go to the strories section.
