Agree for the site is an outstanding start. (MSIE 6) The page seems to end, there's a good chunk of white space, then Product, Info, Contact, FAQ, etc... These links need to be brought into the main body of the page.
Few sites are better at getting the message across than the
Proactive web site. There are a lot of skin cream products, and Proactive knows this. If you've seen their commercials, they have extensive before and after visuals. All the "models" appearing on ths site are "afters," customers who have visibly benefitted from it.
I have to say, if the model on the site is a user of these products, this is a good visual. Unfortunately, my first impression on seeing the beautiful models on most sites is they have zero connection to the company. I believe this credibility gap will grow with time.
On your site you have comments from Leanna, Age 34, mother; Katrina.P; Tony age 18; etc. Unfortunately these do not seem real to people. Real people have full names, perhaps pictures, and possibly "before" and "after" pictures. Sad to say, this is has been brought about by the many years of exaggerated claims in this industry.
The site is good looking. However there are products (skin creams among them) which have to work harder than the usual. The Proactive site understands this, and strives to make a strong case for their products. I would make the model on the site a facet of the design only if she is an after, on only when placing a "before" picture somewhere on the front page. Including something like a "real stories" section would help a lot.
