I would get rid of the background. This will help with load time.

You need a nice looking logo and some better nav. bars

I would also remove the counter.

The picture is a good touch and the contact information at the bottom of the page is also very good.

I'll consider getting rid of the background, but the counter... I'm not so sure! It would be nice to have some idea about the traffic! A logo is definitely coming, and the nav.bars are no good... I know!
