Default Website design

Hi
I also just droped in and i have a few things i would like to say to the design, and setup.

First of all i like the site, but it is breaking with a few webdesign fundemetals, as several people on this site is focused on the pictures, animatede gif's.

The thing is that on the internet studies have show that people tehnd to read the text first and the lok at the pictures afterwards, where it is oppersit with printed matter where people look at the pictures first. Therefor you should not have to many pictures on the first page, but only a single or max 2, and then make the pictures available on the products page, with a list where people can go in and watch them.

Next point: The animatede gif on the top is okay, but there are 2 things that do not function here, first that the animation keeps going, and that has also been showen to be anoing for visitors, you should loop max 2 times and then let it stop. Then there is the text: i will get into that more below here, but the text in the animated gif is not very clear to me, i can read what it says but it is hard to do so.

The last but not least, design rules for website proffesionals and designers states max 3 colors, 3 font sizes, and always the same type of font face, you can though have another font face in gif's and so one.

What i have stated here is basic theaching in multimediadesign and normal designing in Scandinavia, and the rest of Europe.

if sme one would like i can post a pdf with design features, it is in danish, but i can translate the headlines into English.
