I checked out the old site first, then the new. Load time is substantially better -- a plus. I can smell the constraints the client put on you ...'nough said there. The reorganization introduced a very important factor few understand well -- flow and organization. Nicely done.
Although I could locate the navigation I am not a fan of links the same color as text. While there was some attempt at higlight on hover, it strangely lags (slow load). I almost thought there wasn't a highlight on hover. Layout and nave seems to makes sense, but a little low on content. The vision statement and flower thing is typical. It could be replaced with a real statement, but couldn't 99.99% of them do the same. The tagline at least makes sense.
A graphic indicating the way the display "changes" would be so welcome. It could show ease of use, setup and takedown, even (sigh) against competition. Alas, this was not to be. ...But the flower is cool too.
The redesign is probably fairly heroic work, based on what my nose tells me. As always sites do not exist in vacuum but should be viewed in the context of a surfing session where competitors and the client site is viewed. This site however does get some important points right and does them well.
