Default romantic-weddings.com - design and seo review please

Dear all:

I just finished re-do my wedding site - http://www.romantic-weddings.com
and would appreciate any comments from any of you i.e. colors and/or site nagivation

On the SEO part. This website is already ranked well with several keywords like "bali weddings" or "weddings in bali" in msn.com or aol.com

For google.com it is ranked well with keywords "weddings in bali" - but NOT "bali weddings" yet. For this purpose, I am trying to optimize folder http://romantic-weddings.com/bali_weddings/ - but never get into it.

ANy suggestions?

Thanks alot

Hi Gundul_mike, or Mike,

Liked the Header and the general layout with the Flash?.

I am biased here as I have been to Bali and found your description text a boring monologue. Come on sell what's there.

Apart from the header you could look at creating the mood a bit more and this is down to the colours you are using for the rest of the design. (Warmth, Romance etc)

On a semi techie note, I note that you are using CSS for your class="navbar" why is that all not on a linked CSS script - <link href="scripts/base.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

This would make your content move up the page and at the same time reduce your image content as a lot of the images are repeats.

If you use your CSS better you will find that life gets a lot easier especially if you move to XHTML.

Just some thoughts to give you ideas. I could go further.

Your site looks great, just needs tweaking.

Keith

Default Color and CSS

Hi Keith:

Thanks alot for your comments. Yes, I agree with you regarding the color - I will certainly re-do it.

Re: CSS - there are several images I use very often (for that blank spaces and lines), but not very sure how to put them oncss yet - will find out.

Would greatly appreciate any new comments or idea :)

Once again thanks alot.
