Default www.whitelinks.com - Online bookmark manager

Hi,

I have just joined and would like some feedback on http://www.whitelinks.com - its a simple site designed to store your favorites online.

All of the other sites out there that provide this service seemed very plain or awkward - so I have tried to make the site as intuitive as possible. All criticism and thoughts/advice welcome.

Cheers,
Steve

stevewilcock,

I reviewed your site using IE6 @ 800x600 with a cable connection.

The site loaded fast and seems laid out ok.

My first though as I read the well described site was 'why would I want to do this?' You may want to give people this answer be for they think it.

I also though 'great someone else looking to see what I'm doing on-line'.

I don't normaly think I'm paranoid, LOL. Just giving you my first impresions. I do like the simple design, I just think you need to offer some more info. The demo is cool.

Just my 2 bits...

I did the same thing for homepage but not userbased. It's a nice idea. I really like the site ;). The only drawback I could see is that they'd have to keep logging in if they have kill cookie software.

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Yeah, thats a nice point actually, it could be interpreted as sinister if you were suspicious. Maybe I should put in a comment about the fact that I don't track what you click on and I won't sell your stuff to third parties. Do you think the "More information" drop-down on the front page was adequate - or should I make it a bit more obvious?

:-)
