Hi I bumped this up to get more lookers and some advice.

here is a question according to my stats on silk scarves I have 435 views crepe de chine scarves 122 and only 45 on my highest scarf page.
this is for the month of october.

I just added whole new filled out content to all my scarf pages so they will be each getting hit individally soon I hope.
how do I keep people from leaving my site?

I have changed my php pages to html pages

and I have found that all this hard work has paid off a bit.

I think this page really needs to be a couple of paragraphs and don't repeat so much. Read it outloud. Have someone else read it to you. It should tell a lovely story but sell as well. Not too pushy.

When I click on the menu to the left. I get words and the photo is at the bottom. Make the image show up to the right and discription to the left and buy now with price showing. Then, place story at bottom across.

More product = more options = more sales

Compare prices on other sites, terms, shipping. Have a special offer? Discount if over certain amount

You can lead a horse to water.. but, you can't make him drink it. Your website has to be flow driven.. you have to make each page sell itself.

Hrmmm I can definitly work on my text but this is x-carts program and I can't change where the products are vs where the text is.
I can put more photos in the top where the catigory description text is but I can't put the products in the top. I can add more to the brand new products as well though.

Hello,

I noticed you optimized that page for 'crazy lace agate jewelry' which your doing well on google for, however less than 10 people in the world search this term each day.

What you need to do is optimize your site for search terms that will drive even more traffic to your site as this is strictly a numbers game.

They say 1% conversion rate is good. So the following is a good example of the type of traffic your going to need to make some money off this site:

1000 viewers x 1% conversion = 10 sales per month!

Average price of product $40 = $400 in sales.

Not sure what your profit margin is however this gives you an idea of the number of viewers your going to need.

very good point.

about keywords I just changed my cotton underwear catigory last month to the cotton panties thongs and my hits were 4x the amount. I have been starting out slow with larger keyword phrases.
hand dyed silk scarves as aposed to silk scarves.

it is tricky to find out what people scearch for
