Default Please review www.titanium-buzz.com

I have been open for roughly 4 months and I have been very slow in sales. Approx 3-4 sales a month. I am dropshipping most of my items and I also have some stock.
I think the Yahoo Store is really hurting me. I have put alot of work into my site and it looks ok and is easy to navigate but I am only getting really good results from MSN. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi there,

I'd definately recommend ditching the yahoo template or wahtever it was you used to design the site. There's a lot of wasted room to the right, and you should beef up your content as well.

You should try text-based navigation as opposed to image based, as SE's can't read/follow images.

Work on getting it validated as well...lots of errors in the code.

Good luck!

thanks for the input. I would like to drop Yahoo, but do not have a good background in html/design. Therefore I wanted something that I could figure out and it helps me set it up. In regards to the text based vs. image based. If I am selling this stuff wouldn't images be the way to go vs. just text. It would seem very boring to me.

you misunderstood what i meant about your image links;
on your main menu on the left, they are all images that link to your varying pages. SE's can't follow those so well.

Linking the product images themselves is fine, but text linking is ideal.

i'd suggest getting urself a good html book, or finding some tutorials here .

hope that helps!

Default Needs work!

Left navbar menu has a typo, should be 'guarantee'. Also the navbar seems to wide.

All text looks unprofessional.

If you use keywords they must be on the page, such as 'unisex rings' not found on the home page. Perhaps the SE's will think this is keyword spam.

Layout needs work, suggest viewing what other like-merchants websites look like and approximating it.

Needs text to go with the images, keywords for SEO and some promotional spin text to create excitement to get the click. An inteligent mix of the 'proper text' and photos.

Also rewrite the title and description to include keywords and some catchy text to get the click. Keep in mind that your title/description is competing with 19 other's websites on a search engine page.

Needs information about the Merchant to provide transparency and gain creditability, so people will feel secure enought to give credit card info. Who am I dealing with? What makes them special, let visitors know!

I would suggest doing the above and come back for another review.

Default Good site overall!

From your comments I gather that you're going to be putting more work into the site. I'd suggest moving the text higher up on the page since you want people-- surfers on the web--- to get your message quick and easy before they move off the page. Studies show you have just 6 seconds to get a surfers attention. Make your point fast! That is before they're GONE!

I like the site overall, but I'd really urge you to beef up the content--- more text means more keywords to attract potential buyers.

Good luck with it. Developing websites is a lot like bringing up children. We just constantly groom them and push them along breathing in new life.
