Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate.

I came onto the forum a few weeks ago and asked for a review of my new business site. I got loads of useful suggestions and as a result did a complete re-write. Now I've pretty much finished off the new version and would again like to invite your opinions.

Thanks in advance.

No, we're just busy trying to find something wrong with your site :-)

If I should mention something (from a SEO point of view), I'd try to include some more keywords in the description metatag. MSN (and others) still uses them as the description for the link that people should click on.

And (this might sound stupid) less text on pages so you don't have to scroll. Or make some topic-links on the top of each page.

just my to cents of thoughts....

Thanks for that I'll have a look at the descriptions and see if I can beef them up a bit. I'll also try splitting the text up into smaller pages.

It's the weekend. Board traffic tends to drop off on Saturday and Sunday.

Anyway, I took a look at your site and for the most part, I like it. I can read it easily and you get to the point pretty quickly.

A few minor suggestions:

1) Put the following into your CSS file:

img {
border: none;
}

This will eliminate the borders around your W3 compliance images at the bottom.

2) Put some padding into your content area. 5 pixels across should do it. That will keep the words from touching the left and right columns.

3) I don't like the black to blue gradients on the left and right sides. They're too dark and reminiscent of something from 1998-2001. Either use a solid colour, and possibly a lighter one, or a slight gradient.

Some padding is definitely needed.

Over than that, well done mate. :-D

I agree w/ the padding comments...also, I find the colours a bit on the mudddy side...ditch the 'websafe' pallette.

Other than that, it's a pretty straightforward site with lots of content.

Keep up the good work.
