Default Site Launch, built during huricanes and blackouts!

We launched our newest client Site tonight. I personally built it over the last 3 weeks or so while dealing with other clients (existing and new), hurricanes and rolling blackouts. We only build completely custom sites. (No templates in sight – Most of them are trash- IMO)

I believe it all validates except the “Contacts” page where I radically deviated trying to avoid spambots for my new client where I recoded their published e-mail addresses in ascii format, broke it down into 3 partitions, and reassembled in javascript for presentation and functionality. I hope it beats those nasty spambots! You may enjoy the code. Feel free to use it yourself.

“Radically” deviated, well we only have 3 Contact Page code errors according W3C… I can live with that if it beats that hassle for my client’s Internet presence!

Sincerely, This is a good opportunity to take potshots at a WPW Mod’s personnaly designed Site and Launch, or offer earnest opinions and advice, and I will appreciate anything constructive.

This is a Phase1 Launch. Phase 2 will focus on HTML Product pages, replacing the pdf’s. The Adobe pdf’s will then take a secondary seat to the HTML as “Printable Literature”.

I really don’t expect a visit from the “sandbox monster”, but we will see! We can follow it together if you want, but I have never had a Site “sandboxed”.

If you have time and the inclination, I would appreciate your thoughts on:

www.precisioncompletion.com

I tell you what.. My lame hosting company - I can't even ftp right now... What a critical time to place a link for a new client on my PR4 protfolio page.

They are history by this weekend!

Thanks,
Ken
