Default Please Review http://hp-car.com

This site was designed to help the American muscle car enthusiast and builders find what they need to build their car.

Muscle Cars, high performance cars and hot rods : Created to help people find what they need to build their older muscle cars and hot rods.

Default ouch

This site is hard on the eyes. The blue is so bright. The navigation links are mesy. The hp-car gif is too pixelated. The part that says "Thank you for visiting HP-CAR.COM..." makes the lower part of the page move up and down painfully.
I like the Horsepower calculator tho. and nice cars.

your bells and whistles which you are using were common 4 years ago, but are....less appealing the you might think. like the bright red moving logo across the top. and your choice of font would be easier to read if it were not in italics. and the blue background makes some text difficult to read.

to get where you are with your web design, i know that you have put in lots of hours. a few simple changes will alter the feel from the 60's black light culture to the "need for speed - underground" of this millennium.

Have to agree with the other posts - the color scheme is pretty bad as is the font/color in the menu. The pics are good.
Change that hp thing at the top to a camaro racing a 340 duster (the camaro winning of course =).
Good luck.

You have however come to the right place, as these awesome folks that hang here at webproworld are the finest and smartest group I have yet to find.
If you need help or advice ask...you might not get rave reviews, all the time( read throught my site reviews and you'll see what I mean. BTW I redid my entire site and it was worth the added work!) but you will get honest answers and excellent advice! Be warned, it's addictive coming to this forum!

Default I agree

You have the makings for an excellent site. Your concept is great! The fonts and the brightness of the sites is overwhelming! You should change the font to something a little more readable like maybe arial and maybe a 10pt or 12pt font size would even do! The background should be a softer color! With plenty of work, you should be up and running with plenty of horsepower in no time!
