Default Suggestions/Help Regarding New Design

Hi,

After spending time with other sites on SEO and sending out polls, I now finally have the time to re-design my own site.

I've decided to turn my site more into more content: articles, directory, forums and a sports rpg. That all being said I am looking for suggestions and help with the header where the logo is shown.

Please view the following page: http://www.raz-sports.com/Direct.html

Thank you.

I like the baseball and football silhouettes, and the way they're displayed on beige "cards" - but I don't like the way "RAZ" blocks the second card (basketball?).

I don't like the way the sub-title overlaps onto cards at both ends (it looks messy, plus "directory" and "rpg" are hard to read). I think the text should be centered. Does "RPG" stand for "role-playing game"? Whatever it stands for, I'd probably write the words out. Why did you include "PPC search engine"? It seems way out of place.

If it were mine to design, I'd put all the cards to the left and not overlap text onto them.

I like the color scheme.

The six nav buttons that should appear within the green bar are spilling out when I view them on Firefox or Netscape 7.

Hi CJ,

Could you please explain what you mean? I use firefox
and don't understand what you meant by above comments.

Thanks

At least with my window size, "More Sports" appears entirely in the blue border, and "Sports Answers" straddles between the green box and blue border... in Firefox and Netscape, but not in IE.

hi CJ,

I tried playing around with my CSS. I used PX but probably need to change to %? But not sure what %'s to change them too cause not sure if it'll fix the problem.
