There's not much in it, but find-a-quote wins for me, they just seem like the bigger of the two companies. I know thats not always a good thing but i had to base my judgement on something.

Find a Quote looks more professional, albeit cartoony. Local Insurance just seems amatuerish.

I trust Find-a-Quote more because there are actual people's names, positions, and e-mail addresses on the contact.htm page. The site looks more professional.

On the Local Insurance about-us page they only claim fifteen years of experience for their "team". That could be just one year each for a fifteen member team.

Find-a-quote.com, if for no other reason than the copyright date (2005 vs. 2001).

However, if I were looking for American insurance info, I don't think I'd go to either. find-a-quote.com looks spammy because of the keyword stuffing attempt at the bottom (yeah, most customers won't care, but I'm a picky bastige) and cartoonish as mentioned before. Localinsurance.com looks like a broker site posing as an impartial site.

I didn't vote in the poll for this reason.

I can't really say I trust either of them I don't really like to shop at domains with "-" in them, or sites with bulky buttons, the color on find-a-quote turns me off but the other isn't much of an improvement.

If you have time please review a friends site for me.

I will slowly make the colors look more professional. I have heard your thoughts and agree. It seems to be the overall opinion that the colors on www.find-a-quote.com look amature. I wanted to make a site that looks different then others in the field. Yet, there is propbably a reason that the all have a certain look. Because it works. Thanks. Everyone can still vote without posting!
