My site, www.preciouspossessions.com, used to be highly rated for the terms "Franz Porcelain" on Yahoo! Last month, we dropped from 4th to 22nd. Specifically, the page that was highly ranked was http://www.preciouspossessions.com/Franz_Porcelain.html. Any help, reviews, or information on how to improve our ranking on Google, Yahoo! and search engines in general would be appreciated.

Have you looked at what your compation has done to move ahead of you? What key words have they used? Have you looked at their code? What about the title you use? Are you using your key words in your main page? Any of the in a H1 code?

Just a point about page loading time. I usually refer people to this useful tool:Web Page Analyzer. It shows, in this instance, the download times for different connection speeds:

14.4K 99.69 seconds
28.8K 50.04 seconds
33.6K 42.95 seconds
56K 25.93 seconds
ISDN 128K 8.22 seconds
T1 1.44Mbps 1.08 seconds

The total size of this page is 128102 bytes, which will load in 25.93 seconds on a 56Kbps modem. Consider reducing total page size to less than 30K to achieve sub eight second response times on 56K connections. Pages over 100K exceed most attention thresholds at 56Kbps, even with feedback.

As regards ranking etc... I'll PM you with something that might help.
