Default Please review Architect website

http://geocities.com/hammadwebsite/ The site is not fully functioning , you may call it a skeleton of a website as client yet to give a lot of data...So I want review for the layout and over all design of the site.
The site after completion will be hosted at http://hammadhusein.com ...
Any sugeestions and Comments at this stage are most welcome.

Note: this is my first ever pro. project.

Thanks
Mary

My immediate thought even before going through your site is that hideous Yahoo bar. I don't know much about Yahoo sponsored links but I do know in my heart that you have the makings of a very nice architectural site. I used to build custom homes and spent alot of time on architect's sites and I can't tell you what a turn off that Yahoo bar is to me. You are a professional trying to present a professional image and IMHO that Yahoo bar kills it. I assume it's there only because of Geocities so I can't wait until it's gone. Sorry but that one really got to me.

Having vented on that....I like the site very much. If you could click on the project pictures and have them popup larger so we could see the details, I would suggest that. Also consider getting rid of the sound when you click on those flash buttons. Not necessary and distracting.

If this is your first web site, I am impressed.

You may want to check the pixel height on your buttons. Seems like a mis-match.
I like the overall layout and color contrast.

Default Yes that Yahoo bar has got to go!

If it has to be there now ok but definitly dont have it there after. Now there was also a pop up again I hope not you. google makes nice links but put them at the bottom if you did want the ads there.
