Default Like the look and feel

I like the look and feel but the slide show leaves much to be desired... the way you have it set up the entire page must reload each time... so it flickers and I am forced to use my scroll bar on each slide. There are ways to set up your slide show without the page reload. You could use a java, flash, or use Iframes. I am sure there are even more but those three are the ones that I know and use.

Again, I really like the page layout and colors.

Cheers!
Roxanne

I too like the layout. Easy to read and I really love the name deadhippo. I was wondering what I would see when I opened your site. Nothing to do with hippo's so I wonder why the site name and if it's anti search friendly.

hi guys, thanks for taking the time to look at my site
and sorry it took me so long to get back to you
ive been busy with my site and with my life
i have widened the pages by 100px to 800px basically to pull the content up the page a little
i made the top photo on the main pages a little shorter too, i had made it much shorter but because of the new width it was hard to make the photos look good
as i have widened the page the layout is a bit wonky now so i ll have to fix that when i have time

@Roxanne, thanks for the valuable advice, ill have to look into another method for making the slideshows, im thinking maybe a popup window but im not too sure yet
i have also changed some of the photo albums so i dont think you have to scroll (except for vertical pictures)
this was something i was in the process of doing anyway as i want to put space on the top for info about the picture

@roban, thanks for your reply, i chose that site name because it was my email address and the site started off as my personal site to show photos to my family but as i learned about web design it changed
i think most searches go for the content rather than the sites title and frankly i dont have so much content but i will get there , regardless, soem of my pages rank high on searches, i do need to learn more about SEO though

@bambolin, are you advertising your site on my thread
well, i checked it out and i see that there is a thread here about it too, so i might sign up and ill tell you in a month or so whether i actually get any hits from it as promised, i have my doubts about these services but i am pretty new to this game

Hi nice site, just a few quick comments. I would justify your text, maybe put in a column seperator and lastly move the copyright text down to the bottom of the page. I see you are using cafepress for your store, thats alright to start out with so that you can test the market at little cost to you. But as soon as you get a real volume of sales i would be looking at working with a proper supplier. Where you can have more say over quality, colours etc. and also receive a higher profit margin.

The shop page is not appearing very well under IE 6. The advert is wrapping to the next line (the top banner advert) Check it out.

The rest look very fine and cool :-) keep up the good work!
